Community of Sisters

In JAPAN we are ninety Sisters in 12 communities situated in four cities:
Tokyo, Chigasaki, Hiroshima and Hagi. We work in different ministries: formal
and informal Education, Pastoral ministry, activities in solidarity with the
excluded, Peace and Justice movement, and a House of Prayer.
We feel that the promotion of international solidarity through our global MMB
networking (web), is a relevant way to share our Charism in this country where
the percentage of the Catholic population is extremely small, only 3%. Through
this networking, we globalize the compassion of the God of Jesus for our
suffering humanity. We want to do this: "Cooperating in dialogue and prayer with
other religions, ecumenical churches and other groups which work for peace,
ecology an d the decrease in poverty".
